A typical day on the Kingfisher begins a 730 in the morning when we send our dingy to the beach to ferry the angler(s) out to the kingfisher. Once on board we will give you a short speech to familiarize you with the tackle, boat, crew, techniques and answer any questions you may have. It will take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour before we put lines in the water, it will all depend on our “game plan” for the day.
We will have all the gear, bait, tackle, lunch, soda, beer, water etc… ready to go. Just make sure you have your hat, shades, sunscreen and camera ready to go.
The captain enjoys company on the bridge so don’t be afraid to come up for a visit. It is a very different perspective than from the cockpit.
We will have you back on the mooring by 5 or 1 in the afternoon depending on whether it is a full or half day.
